Dr Yanez Peerbaccus MBBS FRACP

Dr Yanez Peerbaccus a dual trained gastroenterologist and internal medicine specialist. He graduated from the University of Cape Town-South Africa in 2005. He relocated to New Zealand in 2007 where he completed his advanced training in Auckland and was awarded his fellowship (FRACP) in 2018.


He received extensive training in general gastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, liver diseases, motility disorders and functional disorders.  Dr Peerbaccus relocated to Brisbane in 2020 and consults privately where he provides a wide range of services in general gastroenterology and hepatology. He performs Colonoscopy, gastroscopy and also provides other services.


Dr Peerbaccus takes pride in being known for a passionate and caring person and aims to provide the highest standard of care to each and every patient. He is fluent in  English, French and Creole.
