Dr Katerina Liew MBBS FRACP

Dr Katerina Liew is an experienced and caring gastroenterologist. She completed her Gastroenterology training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Mater Hospital and the Gold Coast University Hospital. She has a special interest in liver disease and undertook a Hepatology Fellowship at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital.

Prior to Gastroenterology training Dr. Liew worked in various hospitals and GP practices in Victoria and Queensland. She currently holds a Staff Specialist position at Mater Hospital South Brisbane and Logan Hospital, and is actively involved in medical education, registrar supervision and research.

Dr. Liew is happy to be contacted to discuss patients. She is accepting referrals for general gastroenterology, diagnostic and therapeutic gastroscopy and colonoscopy, fatty liver disease, elevated liver enzymes, viral hepatitis, liver disease, and inflammatory bowel disease.
