Annabel Johnston

Annabel Johnston completed her dietitian qualification at La Trobe University in Melbourne. Annabel went on to complete further studies on IBS and diabetes, with Monash University and James Cook University. She became a dietitian due to her interest in the relationship between nutrition and chronic disease prevention and management. Her specialty area is Inflammatory Bowel Disease, with a particular focus on Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis. Annabel uses evidence-based research to conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop management plans. Through education and support, she aims to empower patients to make sustainable changes to their nutrition, to optimise their physical and mental wellbeing.
